Ms Saman Siddiqui has recently joined Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, as a Teacher Associate. Her academic background and professional experience are rooted in international trade law, company law, and competition law, with a particular focus on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and comparative economic regulation. She is trained at nationally and internationally reputed institutions and brings practical exposure in corporate advisory and regulatory compliance. Her academic work adopts an interdisciplinary approach that combines doctrinal analysis with commercial and regulatory insights.
Qualification
She is currently pursuing a PhD in Law at the University of Hamburg. She holds an LL.M. in European and European Legal Studies from Europa Kolleg Hamburg, where she was awarded the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship. She earned her integrated B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University, Visakhapatnam. Her secondary education was completed at Carmel Convent School, Giridih, and her higher secondary education was completed at Giridih High School.

She has recently joined Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, as a faculty member, where her teaching experience formally begins. Her research skills have been developed through academic training and practical experience gained while working with law firms during internships, which involved legal research, drafting, and regulatory analysis. In her teaching, she seeks to integrate theoretical foundations with practical and contemporary legal developments, drawing upon her academic training and professional exposure in corporate advisory and regulatory compliance.

Her areas of academic and research interest include Corporate Law, Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisitions, Due Diligence in Mergers and Acquisitions, and Competition Law.
