Mr. Brahmesh Jayaswal is an Assistant Professor of Law at Chanakya National Law University, (CNLU) Patna, having joined on 1/1/2026. He has completed his LL.M. and LL.B. from O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, in 2025 and 2024, respectively. He served at Hindalco Industries Ltd., in the engineering profession from 2014 to 2021. He completed his first graduation in electrical and electronics engineering in 2014 from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur.

Teaching/Research Experience
He completed a four-week remote internship as a research assistant under Prof. Krishna Deo Singh Chauhan, Associate Professor at O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, as part of his mandatory LL.M. curriculum. His research focused on data protection, IP, and technology laws.

Publication
He has co-authored article on alignment research on artificial intelligence was part of the ETLTC2025 international conference series volume, and the volume has been accepted for publication by AIP publishing (a not-for-profit subsidiary of the American Institute of Physics). The volume is currently pending publication.

He has presented his co-authored article, titled “A New Perspective for Alignment Research in Artificial Intelligence”, at the 2nd Int’l Conference on Artificial Intelligence Horizons, organised by ETLTC and hosted by O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, in April 2025.

He is a recipient of Savitri Jindal scholarship, awarded by O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, in the form of partial waiver of tuition fee, for the sessions 2021-24 and 2024-25.
He has been a fellow and recipient of the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) fellowship, awarded by Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, for the session 2009-10.
