Prof. (Dr.) Poonam Saxena is a distinguished legal scholar and educator with over three decades of academic experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Delhi, where she also completed her LL.B. and LL.M. and served as Professor in Charge, Law Centre–II, Faculty of Law for many years. Prof. Saxena’s areas of expertise include Family Law, Property Law, Women and Law, and Succession Laws. She has served as a Senior Fulbright Scholar, during which she was a visiting lecturer in law at the University of Baltimore, Maryland, USA, and has been a recipient of the Shastri Indo-Canadian Women and Development Fellowship, through which she delivered lectures at numerous Canadian universities. She is a prolific author of reputed legal texts and articles and has held prominent academic leadership positions, including Vice-Chancellor of National Law University, Jodhpur. At CNLU, she contributes as an Adjunct Faculty, enriching the academic environment with her extensive teaching, research, and scholarship.
