About
Dr. Sadaf Fahim is an Assistant Professor of Law at Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, where she has been serving since July 2018. She is also the Co-Director, Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Law, CNLU. She holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Law from National Law University, Delhi, and is an alumna of NLU Jodhpur and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh. She is a qualified lawyer with over two years of litigation experience before the Patna High Court and District Court. Her areas of teaching and research include Artificial Intelligence and Law, Cyber Law, Data Protection, Intellectual Property Rights, and Technology Regulation. She has published extensively in reputed national and international journals and with leading academic publishers, and has presented papers at several international conferences. She has designed and taught the elective course on AI & Law at CNLU and is actively involved in curriculum development, research supervision, and policy-oriented work in emerging technologies. She has also served as a Guest Speaker in various academic and professional training programmes, including the Three-Day Certificate Course on Cyber Security and Digital Forensics (2026), delivering lectures on Data Protection Laws with special reference to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and AI & IT Laws.
