Dr. Nandita S. Jha is a legal academic with over a decade of experience in teaching, research, institutional development, and academic administration at Chanakya National Law University, Patna. Her academic background and professional experience are firmly rooted in international commercial law, corporate law, and consumer protection. She has received legal education from nationally and internationally reputed institutions and has acquired practical exposure in litigation, corporate advisory, and regulatory compliance. Her academic orientation is interdisciplinary, integrating doctrinal legal research with commercial, regulatory, and policy perspectives.

Dr. Jha’s work reflects a strong engagement with corporate governance, insolvency and bankruptcy law, ESG and CSR frameworks, consumer protection, and regulatory reform. She is the Founder of the Centre for Advanced Research on Corporate and Insolvency Laws (CARCIL) and has played a pivotal role in developing institutional research capacity, professional collaborations, and policy-oriented legal education.
